About Me

I came to Autogenic Therapy in 2010 and found that it greatly enhanced both my professional life and my personal journey through pain and chronic fatigue. Autogenic Therapy helped me get back in touch with myself, I found a new acceptance of my body, and for everything I was feeling. I learnt a way to tune into me, the real me that had got lost underneath what was happening to me. In time, I found that I could be at peace with whatever is.

I found that although Autogenic Therapy couldn’t remove the cause of my pain, it could help me to have a different relationship with it. This new relationship with myself allowed me to turn my life around which inspired me to share AT with others.

I have recently joined the BAS training team and am enjoying working with our new students learning to teach AT.

I am also a registered member (accred) of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

In my counselling practice, I have worked with a variety of clients and their presenting concerns, ranging from bereavement, self-harm, abuse, PTSD, anxiety, depression, addiction and sexual identity.

I have also had extensive training and experience in working with terminally ill clients, looking at the end of their life and at the unique challenges this brings them. I understand how life can be very difficult and at times we can feel totally out of control. Autogenic Therapy fits so well with my client led, person-centred practise and my personal philosophy that we are the expert on ourselves and that we hold all the answers. AT gives us the space to listen to our bodies and allows us to find our own balance.

This can led to an increase in creativity, harmony and flow in our lives.
