I had attended meditation retreats and courses since the late 1960’s and was still looking for a scientific, well-researched technique suited to the western mind and life-style when I discovered Autogenic Training in 1997. Its effects were so immediate and profound that I decided to become an Autogenic Therapist and gained a Diploma in Autogenic Psychotherapy (Nov.2000)
Since then I have taught AT to people from all walks of life and it is their acknowledgement of the beneficial changes that AT brings about, that encourages me to continue to develop my AT practice. I teach individuals and groups. I can adapt the AT course to save travel for clients who live some distance from West Yorkshire, and am also prepared to travel to teach groups.
I teach a ten session course which includes an assessment session, eight AT sessions and a follow-up session. The course also explores techniques which enable the effective management of anxiety, anger and grief.
