About Me

It was after my osteopath told me that the main contributing factor to my chronic back pain was stress that I discovered AT. Learning this simple mind-body method of relaxation exceeded my expectations. Not only did I no longer experience debilitating muscle spasms, I experienced many positive and beneficial changes emotionally and physically. 

My belief is that stress is at the root of most of modern society’s emotional and physical ills. My training as an Integrative Counsellor strengthens this opinion, and my experience to date has shown me that individuals who have learned the deep relaxation techniques and AT skills gain positive results, including reduced anxiety, improved sleeping patterns and pain management.

I believe that almost anyone can benefit from Autogenic Training, providing individuals with a powerful self-help, self-empowering technique, and a skill for life. The training course teaches participants to access their own innate potential for restoring emotional and physiological balance. My desire is to teach others to help themselves, and to experience the holistic benefit of AT.

Through my extensive experience of working as a mentor or counsellor to individuals in recovery from addiction, I realise that over time sometimes the stress of everyday life can, for many, lead to the risk of relapse. I have witnessed that it is possible for AT’s techniques to help to reverse this pattern.

I now teach AT face-to-face or online. I can also work with small groups in WC1N or in the workplace.
